Gas gangrene is a critical infection caused by Clostridium (gas forming bacteria). This bacteria infects the wound by letting gas bubbles form under the skin, killing the body tissue. The common symptoms in this case are high fever, persistent inflammation, and blisters which get worsen overtime.
