Dr. Mary Andrea-Miranti is CEO/President of Andrea Hyperbaric, Wound Care and Podiatry Center:
From an early age, She aspired to become a physician due to her mother’s influence and support.Upon graduating from Mercy College with a bachelor of science in biology and bachelor of art in journalism, she was admitted to New York University Medical School, where she received her medical degree.
Four years later, she completed her surgical residency in podiatry and orthopedics at St. Barnabas Hospital and Trauma Center. In 2005 Dr. Andrea-Miranti started working with The Center for Wound Healing in one of the Queens Hospitals. She began to learn about new treatments, such as hyperbaric medicine with wound care to salvage Limbs. At one time the only thing she knew was to amputate; now she was able to salvage the limbs and change lives.
In 2010 she took her knowledge of medicine and business and with the support of her dear husband Johnnie Miranti, she took a risk and opened her very own hyperbaric and wound care center. Through trials and tribulations Dr. Andrea-Miranti has pursued her goal and her mother’s dream of being a successful physician and opening a successful business, Andrea Hyperbaric, Wound Care and Podiatry Center, which has earned her an opportunity for independence and the fulfillment of helping others.
Dr. Andrea-Miranti strives to continue growing and expanding, and is dedicated to the care and well-being of her patients.
